A common type of assignment is a class discussion. These discussions are between you, your instructor, and your classmates. You can post a new message or respond to someone else’s message.
When posting to a class discussion, it’s critical to remember to follow the rules of Netiquette Guidelines (found in our next lesson) for Discussions and Other Forms of Communication online. You also want to proofread and spell-check your text to ensure it meets college writing standards.
Important Note: You may have a different view of your discussion. If so, follow these directions.
Click the discussion forum in the folder and then click Go to Discussion
Click on the name of the forum
Scroll down until you see Start a New Thread
From this point on, the video will explain how to add your post.
