- Device (computer, laptop, Chromebook). Please note that phones, and tablets will allow you to complete some online learning activities. They often will not allow you to complete assignments or take tests. You must have access to a computer.
Basic computer specs would be: at least a 2GHz processor, 4GB of RAM (8GB recommended), and a stable high-speed internet connection (3.0Mbps or higher).
Please note, there are some programs (particularly in the Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, and Engineering Technologies areas, the computer requirements will be much higher).
- Webcam. Webcams are required for some classes.
- The latest versions of MS-Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS.
- High-speed Internet Connection. You will need a reliable internet connection (DSL, cable, etc.)
- Web Browsers. You will need the most up-to-date versions of Edge or Chrome.
- Plugins. Be sure your Java plugin is up-to-date.
